OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2012. Ukraine has all chances to sign an Association Agreement with the European Union in 2013. This was stated by the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi while participating in the first annual conference of the Ukrainian National Platform Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership, which was held in Kyiv.

The First vice Prime Minister said that the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU remains a priority for Ukraine. "This - is the point of no return, after which the movement of Ukraine to the European sector is significantly faster," - he stressed.

Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi also said the FTA between Ukraine and the EU should work as quickly as possible. "Such a step would have a positive impact on the economies of both sides" - he stressed.

The First vice Prime Minister predicted that the next EU-Ukraine summit could take place early next year. "Most likely, the Summit will be held in February 2013," - he added.
