OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2012. The highest average interest rate on loans extended in MDL was recorded in September, 2012 and made up 12.58%, NBM informs. In October Moldova saw thin of the average interest rate on loans extended to legal entities by 0.35 p.p. from 11.83% to12.18% and the increase of the average interest rate on loans to individuals by 0.16 p.p. from 15.06% to 15.18%.

The highest interest rate was that on loans extended for up to 1 month to individuals and made up 16.02% against 18.86% a month before. The highest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for up to 1 month. It equalled to 16.12%, making 15.47% and 17.02% for legal entities and individuals respectively.

The lowest interest rate was that on loans extended in MDL for over 5 years to legal entities and made up 10.18%. The lowest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for over 5 years too.

It equalled to 11.39%, making 10.18% and 11.65% for legal entities and individuals respectively.
