OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2012. Belarus Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich met with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko.

The meeting was held as part of the Belarusian Investment Forum.

The parties discussed cooperation of Belarusian government bodies with the Eurasian Economic Commission, prospects of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan in the Customs Union.

According to Viktor Khristenko, the common market of the Customs Union is the main driving force of the bilateral partnership. “In January-August 2012 mutual trade grew twice as much as foreign trade,” Viktor Khristenko stressed. He also informed Mikhail Myasnikovich on the EEC staffing.
