OREANDA-NEWS.  November 22, 2012. The ceremony of the memorable capsule laying in the foundation of the marine passenger terminal took place in the sea port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.  

The Rosmorrechflot head A.Davydenko, the FSUE "Rosmorport" executive director K.Bobrov and the Petropavlovsk Branch director A.Gashenko, the Kamchatka Territory governor V.Ilyukhin, the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy AMP employees and representatives of the Directorate of the State Customer for Marine Transport Development Programmes took place in the Ceremony.

The new marine passenger terminal in the sea port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy is puprosed for servicing passengers arriving at the sea port by cruise vessels and by local passenger lines, connecting remote areas of the Kamchatka Territory and sea ports of other Far Eastern regions.

The modern facility will include the checkpoint on the Russian Federation state border of up to 200 passenger per hour capacity, a comfortable waiting room, ticket offices, a hotel, a restaurant and other services, equipped in accordance with the latest tendencies and best practice in the maritime passengers transportation industry.
