OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2012. LLC "STROYGAZMONTAZH" took part in an International Nord Stream Race regatta that took place in Baltic sea from 18 to 27 of October and was dedicated to the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline that is the longest subsea route in the world for the export of gas.

The sponsoring role for the yachts engaged in the Race played such companies-participants of the Nord Stream Project as Joint Venture Nord Stream AG (Team Europe), JSC Gazprom (Team Russia), LLC "STROYGAZMONTAZH" (Team Germany), Gazprom International (Team Holland) and LLC "STROYGAZCONSULTING" (Team France). The prize in the amount of 100 000 EURO was granted by the main Sponsor of the event namely Gazprom Group.

The crew of the yacht supported by "STROYGAZMONTAZH" become the winner of match races and got the special prize of the regatta. Match races are high speed races that can be compared by strength of impressions with Formula 1 where race yachts are used instead of race cars.

Following the results of the Race, Russian yacht called Bronenosets was acknowledged to be the winner of the Race. "STROYGAZMONTAZH"-sponsored team took the 4th place.

The results of the Nord Stream Race 2012 are following:

1st place — Team Russia with a score of 27.5 points (JSC Gazprom)

2nd place — Team Europe with a score of 23 points (Nord Stream AG)

3d place — Team Holland with a score of 21.5 points (Gazprom International)

4th place — Team Germany with a score of 19 points (LLC "STROYGAZMONTAZH")

5th place — Team France with a score of 7.5 points (LLC "STROYGAZCONSULTING")
