OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2012. Kirovsky Zavod proceeds to accomplishment of orders on modernization of ship power plant and production of component parts for radio detecting and ranging stations. The total cost of contracts amounts to 800 million rubles.

CJSC Kirov Energomash Plant (a subsidiary of) increased the stock of orders for supply of products for the Ministry of Defense. Over the last four months contracts for accomplishment of the State Defense Order in joint with OJSC All-Russian Research Institute of Radio Equipment, OJSC Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center, OJSC Production Association ‘Northern Machine – Building Enterprise’ for the total amount about 800 million rubles have been concluded.

Contracts for 2013-2014 anticipate supply of a wide range of products and services rendering for the army and navy. Primarily, that is repair and modernization of ship power plants produced by Kirovsky Zavod as well as production of equipment and component parts for radio detecting and ranging stations.

At the present time in compliance with the development strategy of Group of Companies Kirovsky Zavod up to 2016 the complex modernization of production of Kirov-Energomash is being completed. Due to equipment modernization and extension of the production complex the enterprise managed not only to improve the quality of traditional orders’ performance but it mastered output of new production types having concluded a range of large contracts. At the present time Kirov Energomash Plant holds negotiations concerning signing of contracts with Ural Locomotives, LLC (Yekaterinburg) and pipe-wheel company Interpipe (Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine) which ensure supply of the products of railway machinery to 60 countries of the world.

According to production plans in 2013 Kirov Energomash Plant will double output of products compared to the current year. In which case, the proceeds of the enterprise are to amount to 1.8-2 billion rubles.
