OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2012. At the end of October, the Bank’s major shareholder and Council Chairperson Valeri Belokon visited a festive event at the historic Dumfries Estate (Ayrshire, Scotland), reported the press-centre of BIB.

The event was hosted by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Dumfries House, a valuable historical monument of 18th-century architecture in Scotland, was bought and fully renovated by the Prince of Wales Foundation three years ago.

The Patrons of the Prince of Wales Foundation were invited to attend the opening of the Prince’s Drawing School’s Dimplex Studio. It is intended that the Studio will be the home for practising artists from Scotland and the Unites States, as well as a venue for students of the Prince’s Drawing School to experience drawing and painting around the Estate.

The opening of the Studio reflects the Dumfries House Trust’s strong educational agenda. The Studio is expected to foster attaining the objectives pursued by HRH The Prince of Wales.
