OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2012. TRANSNEFT JSC made a preliminary estimations on possible variants of building of ”Yug” oil product pipeline, as the press-secretary of the Company declared to the Agency on Oil Information (ANI).

He said that the cost of such building of an oil pipeline, which starts from a series of oil processing plants in Samara and goes to Novorossijsk city, shall amount (according to preliminary calculations) about 90 billion RUR. Building of an oil product pipeliene going further to Tuapse city is estimated as 105 billion RUR, as the route of the pipeline shall be 200 km longer in that case. At that, realizing a project with two final destination points (one in Novorossijsk city and one in Tuapse city), the cost shall rise up to about 117 billion RUR. The project of “Yug” oil product pipeline is meant for transportation of diesel fuel of Euro-5 standard both for export and to domestic market.
