Bank of Moscow Appointed Senior Vice-President of IT Unit
OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2012. Sergey Mednov has been appointed Senior Vice-president of the Bank of Moscow. IN his post, he will be in charge of the IT Unit and be responsible for development of innovative lines of bank business.
Sergey Mednov was born on 10 May 1966. In 1990 he graduated from the Moscow Ordzhonikidze Aviation Institute, specialising in automated design systems. He received his business education at the Plekhanov Russian Economics Academy, specialising in Finances and Credit and has also studied under a number of international business management programmes. From 1994 to 1997, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the management Board for IT at Montazhspetsbank and, from 1997 through 2000, that of Deputy Chairman of the management Board for IT at Promsvyazbank. Before joining the Bank of Moscow, Sergey Mednov was a member of the Management Board of Alfa-Bank and headed up the IT and Electronic Business Units.
After agreement with the Moscow Chief Territorial Administration of the Bank of Russia, Sergey Mednov will be appointed a member of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow.
