OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov hopes that an Agreement on free trade area with Vietnam will be concluded in a short time. He said this during the Ukrainian-Vietnamese business forum.

"We are working with the Government of Vietnam on the Agreement on the introduction of a free trade area. This document will simplify our trade and economic relations. And I think that in the interest of both parties, this process can be completed in a short time", - Mykola Azarov said.
He stressed that Ukraine and Vietnam have significant potential to enhance trade and economic relations and increase bilateral trade. "When our countries share their potential in certain directions, thus they greatly accelerate its development", - the Prime Minister said.

The Head of Ukrainian Government noted that the perspective is bilateral cooperation in the aviation industry. According to him, Ukraine produces modern aircraft that are in no way inferior to the world standards.

In addition, Mykola Azarov stressed, that promising is cooperation in space, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals industry and power engineering. "Ukraine produces turbines from small to the most powerful turbines. We can build as small hydro power plants, as we can build large plants. I am convinced that this is the area between Ukraine and Vietnam can be a fruitful and long-term cooperation", - Mykola Azarov said.
