OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2012. The fourth joint meeting of the Coordination Council for economic cooperation with Japan under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Business Cooperation Committee with Ukraine of Japan Business Federation "Keidanren" is being held in Tokyo.

The meeting is chaired by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Chairman of the Committee Motoyuki Oka.

Participation in the event hosted a delegation of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, headed by the First Deputy of Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Rafael Kuzmin.
As part of the Coordination Council the issues of the current economic situation and forecasts in the countries, trade and investment policies, as well as the prospects of concluding an agreement on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments between Ukraine and Japan is going to discuss.

In addition, the sides will discuss the prospects of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Japan in the areas of: economic and trade relations and investment, industry, energy, infrastructure modernization, tourism, housing and utilities, agriculture and food industry, etc.

The event will also attended by representatives of relevant ministries, agencies, institutions and business communities of both countries.
