OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2012. Qatar Petroleum is participating in the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The exhibition includes major oil and gas companies from all over the world, including many national companies and support services companies, reported the press-centre of QP. 

His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, inaugurated the four-day exhibition and conference and he was accompanied by His Excellency Mohammed Bin Thaen Al-Hamli, Minister of Energy of the UAE, and a number of senior officials.

His Highness Sheikh Hazza visited the QP stand, where he was warmly received by members of the QP delegation, who presented him with a gift and explained to him QP’s ongoing projects and future expansion plans.

QP is participating in the exhibition with its Industrial Cities Affairs Department and the QP stand showcases the projects and achievements of Mesaieed and Ras Laffan, which are the company’s key operating areas.

The exhibition, which is held with the support of the UAE Ministry of Energy and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has attracted the participation of more than 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries worldwide. The exhibition is expected to attract over 45,000 visitors over the next four days.
