OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2012. Beijing and Zhangbei county under the jurisdiction of Zhangjiakou, Hebei province signed an agreement recently on two strategic emerging industries projects in the Xiangyun Cloud Computing Industrial Park, the Hebei Economic Daily reported on Tuesday.

The industrial park, in Zhangbei county, signed the agreement on a cloud base data center and open cloud century data center, with two Beijing companies – the Beijing Cloud Valley Venture Capital Co and Beijing Open Cloud Century Technology Co.

The two projects cover a 4.25-hectare area and have 14.3 billion yuan (USD 2.3 billion) in investment. The cloud base data center is expected to bring in 800 million yuan annually, and the open cloud century data center, pretax profits of 459 million yuan.
