Helios IT Set up Operations Management Software in Vnesheconombank
OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2012. Helios IT, a member of ARMADA JSC (MICEX-RTS: ARMD) announces successful completion of the project on implementation of operations management software BMC Remedy in Vnesheconombank. This project is one of the stages of the program on improving the IT-operations management system in line with the bank’s strategy.
An integrated IT-operations management system has been successfully functioning and duly developing in the bank for a long time. The system consists of 15 interconnected IT-management processes, which comprise all aspects of activity of IT-specialists related to IT-services provision: from collection of information concerning IT-services demand and planning to performance of operations on their provision.
During the work on the project the specialists of Helios IT managed to incorporate organizational and technical solutions on informational interaction with planning and IT-services implementation management processes; to document more than 600 operation types for more than 150 IT-services; to organise and to maximally automatize the work of approximately 100 IT-specialists on processing of scheduled operations and keeping of a “Scheduled Operations Catalogue”, as well as to implement the mechanisms of control and regular reporting to the IT-management.
Sergey Krol, a representative of Vnesheconombank, said: “Thanks to the unique solution on automatization of the operations management process developed by Helios IT team, we managed to reduce significantly the managers’ duties on organization of work, and to minimize human factor risks in terms of IT-services exploitation”. Now we can positively announce that the operations management process became an integral part of the bank’s IT-activities. The analytic reporting on the process is regularly reviewed not only by IT-management, but by the bank’s technological committee as well, which consists first of all of business representatives, for the purpose of quality management of IT-services”.
