OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2012. Sviaz-Bank’s BLIZKO money transfer system lowered the rates it charges on transfers across Russia. Now, customers will pay commission for money transfers across Russia at an average rate of 1.3% of the amount transferred, or 23% less than the commission they used to pay before, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The difference will be significant for all BLIZKO customers, particularly those who transfer large amounts. For example, a customer transferring 500,000 rubles will pay 1,800 rubles only for the service (or 0.36% of the transfer amount).

The BLIZKO system’s rates are still very attractive to customers in the Russian money transfer market.

When he goes to a BLIZKO service office, a customer gets a high-quality service, a low transfer price, and a high transfer speed. The addressee can collect the money at any BLIZKO office in a destination country by producing his passport.

“We have studied the trends in the money transfer market and decided to lower the rates we charge on our services. In this way, we want to build the loyalty of our current customers and to attract new ones,” said Andrei Laikov, CEO of the BLIZKO system. “Customers put a high value on the bargain they get and also on the reliability of the organization they buy services from, on the absence of hidden commissions, conversion charges, and lots more. In other words, a service must be transparent, and that is what makes our money transfers so different.”
