With the development of technology of sales of electronic tickets for travel by rail the terms of their implementation and the rules and methods of accounting and control are changed. This was started by the First Deputy Chief of the passenger control department of Ukrzaliznytsia Igor Breus during an interview.

According to him, Ukrzaliznytsia will abandon security forms that will allow annually save at least 50 million UAH in the near future, with changes to the tax laws.

According to the plans of the Ministry of Infrastructure, self-service terminals will be installed at railway stations through which passengers can buy tickets.

These changes will take effect from the date of entry into force of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Regulation "On Amendments to the Order of rail services to citizens" and the Order "On the approval of amendments to the Rules of the carriage of passengers, baggage, post and cargo by rail of Ukraine".
