OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2012. In October, the car market in Ukraine grew by 32% compared to year-ago results. The primary market of passenger cars increased by 28% and reached 23,528 cars. Commercial vehicles were sold in amount of 11,003 units, which is 43% more than in October last year. In part of the buses the market has grown by 21%. There were 496 registrations of buses on the primary market. 

 The share of new vehicles in the initial registrations of passenger cars has remained at 98%, in the segment of commercial vehicles - 21%, and 63% - of the buses.

 The share of vehicles produced in Ukraine continued to decline and reached 18 percent in the October market of new vehicles.

 In just 10 months of this year 291,587 vehicles were sold and registered in the SAI in Ukraine, a 24% increase compared to 2011. From this amount passenger cars are 198,111 pcs. (+17%), commercial vehicles - 88,609 units (+44%) and 4,867 buses (+29%).

 Association "Ukrautoprom" underlines that for the first ten months of 2012 the production of Ukrainian automobile plants made just 21 percent from the total number of vehicles, which were sold and delivered to the permanent record in SAI.
