OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2012. Until Nov 7, the coal handling capacity of Qinhuangdao port in 2012 reached 200.03 million tons.

The port of Qinhuangdao has overcome some adverse conditions this year and had begun paying much more attention to the supply of cargo, handling capacity, and market changes and has adopted a “Going-out” strategy to ensure a steady cargo supply by cooperating with some bigger buyers.

It has also done some refinement work on its management and has improved efficiency with a heavy-load connection system.

This is the sixth consecutive for the port to have its annual handling capacity exceed 200 million ton.
