OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2012. In October 2012, the Baltic International Bank expanded its range of payment cards with the exclusive VISA Infinite card, thus becoming the first bank in the Baltic States which can offer its clients the highest level of cards from all of the world’s leading payment systems – VISA, MasterCard and American Express, reported the press-centre of BIB.

“Few clients can apply for the VISA Infinite card,” says VISA Europe representative Linus Olofsson.  “Visa Infinite is an exclusive card which offers the cardholder a series of additional advantages such as an insurance programme, a collection luxury offers, VIP services at airports – those are just a few of the benefits.  Few banks have the right segment of customers to issue the VISA Infinite card, and we are glad that the Baltic International Bank has now become our partner.”

VISA Infinite from the Baltic International Bank will be perfect for clients who travel abroad very frequently.  Cardholders and their families will receive travel insurance for a sum of up to EUR 5 million, also covering cases such as flight cancellation, flight or baggage delays, medical assistance abroad, etc.

Baltic International Card holders also will have 24/7 and free access to the bank’s Concierge Service, which can offer help in any situations in life – recommending an office in a new country or providing transportation to the airport.  VISA offers the cardholders a set of luxe offers in terms of travel, leisure, and the world’s finest restaurants and shops.

Baltic International Bank clients will, together with the VISA Infinite card, receive the White Card, which does not show the name of the cardholder and is meant for confidentially when making payments.  The cardholder will also receive a Priority Pass card which ensures free access to VIP lounges at more than 700 of the world’s leading airports.  The VISA Infinite card is offered with a chance of zero-interest loan for a period of up to 40 days.

“Our strategy is to offer our clients the best and most exclusive products – those which are truly useful to them,” says the Deputy Chairperson of the Board at Baltic International Bank, Natalya Tkachenko.  “Two years ago we were the first to emit the high-level World Signia card from MasterCard, and now we are proud to announce this alternative product from the VISA system.  We expect that the Infinite cards will be in much demand, because our clients very much appreciate the best services that are available.”

Because of differences in the use of the VISA and MasterCard systems in the world, the Baltic International Bank offers a wide range of cards from both systems, thus ensuring that the client can choose the appropriate product in each country.

Visa Infinite cards will be available to Baltic International Bank clients who receive a special invitation from the bank to receive them.
