OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2012. Having evaluated more than 600 videos submitted by European companies contesting for the European Business Awards (EBA), the organisers have nominated the national champions — altogether 100 companies, among them 5 businesses coming from Latvia. SEB is one of them. After real life presentations at the next round of selection, the jury will nominate the EBA winners in several categories which will be announced at the Award ceremony in April 2013, reported the press-centre of SEB.

This year, for the first time, entrants in the European Business Awards submitted a video case study. All case studies were uploaded onto the European Business Awards website and an online voting mechanism was introduced to allow the public to choose their favourite videos in each country. Over 35,000 votes were cast with one company automatically going through to the National Champion round. In addition, an esteemed panel of judges chose another 4 organisations that exhibited innovation, business excellence and sustainability to represent Latvia.
