OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2012. 40 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan within last week.

Businessmen from the UK, Malaysia, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands bought aviation kerosene, KO-20 kerosene, diesel fuel, liquefied gas, gasoline, basic oil and burnt oil coke produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Businessmen from Cyprus purchased diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery. The transactions in the foreign currency were also concluded for wheat, one-coloured and jacquard terry towels, bedclothes, cotton yarn and cotton fibre. The buyer-countries: Russia, China, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands. The transactions in the foreign currency totalled over USD 197 million.

The transactions in deposit manats were concluded for textile goods, terry and knitted cloth, cotton yarn, textile wastes. The buyer-countries: China, the UK, Turkey, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Slovakia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan. The transactions totalled over ten million deposit manats.

Turkmen entrepreneurs bought polypropylene to the sum of 32,000 manats.
