Sberbank Simplified Registration Requirements for Loans
OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2012. Sberbank of Russia began issuing consumer and car loans to natural persons who receive wages or pensions at their Sberbank accounts without the mandatory requirement to be registered at the credit issuance location. From now on, credits can be issued at any Sberbank office if the borrower is registered in the territory of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.
On September 1, 2012, Sberbank lowered its minimum downpayment required for receiving a car loan without confirmation of income and employment. From now on, getting a car loan at Sberbank has become even easier: With downpayment starting from 30% of a vehicle's value, you can obtain a decision on your loan application by providing only your passport and driving license (or any other document from the list posted at Sberbank's website). The loan application will be processed in no more than one day.
In August, 2011, Sberbank simplified the procedure of car loan issuance by eliminating the requirement to present written spouse's consent to pledging the acquired car to the bank. Thus, the borrower's spouse is not required to visit the office of Sberbank when credit documents are signed.
"Sberbank is constantly trying to make our credit products more affordable and simplify their issuance procedures," said Natalya Alymova, Director of the Retail Lending Department at Sberbank of Russia.
