OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2012. Sberbank has launched the Save and Spend campaign. Those clients who acquire saving certificates and make purchases using Sberbank cards will receive extra THANK YOU bonuses, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

Any cardholder of Sberbank can participate in the "Thank you from Sberbank" program. Each time a customer pays with their card at a store anywhere in the world, he or she will receive THANK YOU bonuses on his/her bonus account. Accumulated THANK YOU bonuses can be exchanged for discounts in stores affiliated with the Program.

In order to take part in the campaign, a saving certificate for the period of at least 500 days has to be acquired for amounts starting from 50,000 rubles, participation in the "Thank you from Sberbank" program is required, and at least three payments using Sberbank cards should be made monthly. Eventually, THANK YOU bonuses amounting to 50% of the interest profit on acquired certificates will be credited to the client's account within two months. The campaign will end on January 31, 2013.

For example, if a client acquires Sberbank's certificate on November 1 for 300,000 rubles (8.5% per annum) for the period of 500 days, registers oneself in the "Thank you from Sberbank" program, and makes three payments using a Sberbank card, 1013 (half of the 8.5% per annum rate) extra THANK YOU bonuses will be credited to the client's card. If three payments are made throughout December, 1083 bonuses will be credited in January and 35 more bonuses will be credited in February. The maximum number of bonuses that may be received by a client during the campaign is 100,000.

Taking part in the Save and Spend campaign,in addition to higher deposit interest rate, our clients also receive extra 50% of the interest profit in form of the THANK YOU bonuses, which could not have come at a better time in view of the forthcoming New Year and buying presents for family members and friends," said Dmitry Oguryaev, Director of the Department of Retail Deposits and Investment Products.
