OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2012. United Aircraft Corporation will take part in INDODEFENCE-2012 international show (Jakarta, Indonesia) on 7-10 of November, reported the press-centre of UAC. 

United Aircraft Corporation subsidiaries Sukhoi and Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company will showcase Su-35, Su-30MK2 and Sukhoi Superjet 100 models at hall D. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company has already acquired certain position and has firm orders for 45 aircraft for Lao and Indonesian careers.

Civil aircraft produced by the corporation has great perspectives in Asian-Pacific region. According to the corporation estimations its civil aircraft might take about 14% of 100 seat regional market segment. The narrow body segment also looks promising for the UAC aircraft – about 7-10% till 2030. During next 20 years UAC commercial aircraft sales might surpass 400 aircraft.

During the show and on the threshold of first SSJ100 deliveries to Indonesian career Sky Aviation, work with current and potential customers will be continued. By the end of November first 8 pilots, 9 flight attendants and 12 technicians of Sky Aviation will finish education at the SJI training center, and that will allow the career to start operations at the moment of the acceptance. Besides, SSJ100 type certificate validation process is in the stretch.

Cooperation broadening process is also in full swing - in particular, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Indonesian company Dirgantara are negotiating about the opportunity of joint production of some Sukhoi Superjet 100 components as well as aftersales support in Indonesia.

Asian-Pacific is one of the key markets for Corporation for both civil and military segments. This is the most fast growing market currently. According to different estimations annual average passenger traffic growth in Asia will be higher that all over the world by 1-2% which makes this region one of most capacious as far as demand for new aircraft till 2030 is concerned.
