OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2012. The publishing house “Economy” and the magazine “TOP-100” published the next rating research “100 Ukraine’s largest agricultural companies” (rating).

The rating criterion was the index of net income in 2011. The rating was created on the basis of financial and production data, questionnaire data about financial situation of companies, and open information sources.

“Despite availability and demand for products both in the foreign and domestic markets, 2011 turned out to be not so unclouded for the domestic agrarians as well as 2012”, mention the rating authors. “Unpleasant surprises arose (and continue arising) from everywhere. The matter is about unfavourable weather conditions, and unsteady state of foreign markets, and notorious government regulation”.

Main problems of the domestic agricultural sector at the present stage of development are underuse of the Ukrainian agricultural sector possibilities and quite low productivity of majority of companies.

As to ability to use and implement the domestic agricultural sector possibilities properly, “NIBULON’s” investment activity on development of effective logistics and optimal system of product storage can become an example for many Ukrainian companies.

Such a policy helped the company to take the second place with net income in the amount of UAH 11 640 mln and net profit – UAH 63.3 mln in 2011. It should be noted the amount of “NIBULON’s” income did not change practically as compared with 2010 (UAH 11673.3 mln in 2010), while the company’s net profit increased more than three times.

We remind you it was not the first time “NIBULON” takes the leading positions in the industry ratings. In 2011 “NIBULON” was acknowledged as the best among companies of agro-industrial complex according to the ratings “Deloitte”, “GVardiya 500”, "TOP-100 Rating of Ukraine’s best companies ".
