OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2012. On the 31th of October in the sterile area of the Vnukovo airport cafe "Le Crobag" has been officially opened. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the company "Le Crobag" and by the representatives of the Vnukovo airport. Among the guests, there were representatives of the major airlines operating in Vnukovo - Lufthansa, "Transaero", Turkish Airlines and others.

"Next year we expect passenger traffic will reach 17 millions, therefore, to open a cafe with European service standards is very appropriate. Now we are ready to serve passengers together,"- underlined Michael Greydin, Deputy Director General of JSC "Vnukovo" and wished success and prosperity to the company.

"It is a big step forward for us and it is important that first "Le Crobag" in Russia has been opened in new passenger terminal at Vnukovo. I hope that its design, on the one hand, and authentic products from France, on the other, will give the unique opportunity to passengers to feel the atmosphere of Parisian cafes,"- pointed out Jens Bartolatus, managing director of "Le Krobag".

"Vnukovo airport has great prospects and potential to attract passengers. This is exactly the place where such a cafe should be opened,"- said, in his turn, Yevgeny Vasilyev, General Director of "Rex Trading"- franchisee partner of "Le Crobag" in Moscow.

The "Le Crobag" company was founded in Hamburg in 1981. The first cafe, opened at the railway station, did not have an extensive product range and offered to visitors only five items. However, it became immediately popular among residents and visitors of Hamburg.

The success was overwhelming, and over the years the brand "Le Crobag" became known throughout the country. Now cafes can be already found in 120 German cities, as well as in Austria, Poland and Switzerland. You can enjoy croissants, baguettes, sandwiches, salads and pastries. By the way, the word "krobag" derives from an abbreviation of the words "croissant" and "baguette".

Now the top management of the company decided to enter the russian market. For a while, only one cafe is opened in the area of domestic flights, however, in the beginning of 2013, in the Vnukovo Airport second cafe "Le Crobag" will appear – this time for passengers flying abroad.
