OREANDA-NEWS. November 8, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company was named the winner of the first Russian award for the best representatives of the private banking field, major capital management, and related sectors – SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards 2012. The insurance company has taken the first place in the nomination The Insurance Company of the Year. The winners were honored on November 1 at the stage of the Mossovet Theater. The ceremony was hosted by Ivan Urgant.

SPEAR’S Russia Wealth Management Awards is organized according to the tradition and by analogy with SPEAR’S Wealth Management Awards annually held in London by The SPEAR’S UK magazine. In Russia the award has been presented for the fourth year in a row.

The winners of SPEAR’S Russia Awards 2012 were selected in several stages. First, the Organizing Committee took an opinion poll among the professionals of the field, and made a short list according to its results. Then, the expert jury under the chairmanship of Alexander Gafin, SPEAR’S Russia magazine editor-in-chief, selected the worthiest prize contenders. An independent consultant of the Award, PricewaterhouseCoopers, controlled the observance of nominees and winners selection rules.

Ilya Solomatin, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Vice President claimed: "we are glad that the company's activity as for the quality client service and providing services at the highest level possible has been evaluated on its merits. It is even more pleasant to win the award in our anniversary year. On November 16, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company will celebrate 65 years of operation. It should be noted that Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has been named the winner of the Award for the second time already. In 2009, the insurance company was named The Insurance Company of the Year.”

It is worth recalling that the insurance company's activity has been recognized by a great many prizes and awards. In October 2012, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company won the award The Company of the Year 2012 organized by The Company weekly and a prize of Expert RA rating agency for the publicly available company. In June 2012, it was named the winner of the 8th Annual Public Award in the field of finance The Financial Elite of Russia 2012 in the categories Reliability and The Employer of the Year at the Financial Market – Insurance. The company has been recognized the winner of the competition for four years already. Moreover, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has obtained the platinum diploma of the Russian Union of Journalists and the Financial Press Club within the framework of the competition For Informational Availability. In May 2012, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company was acclaimed the winner of the National Professional Award Financial Olympus 2011 in The Major Insurance Company nomination, Result and Success category. It is worth mentioning that in 2010, the prize was won by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company in the same nomination, and in 2009 – in the Motor Vehicle Insurer nomination, Dynamics and Efficiency category. In April 2012, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company became the winner of THE BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE 2011 competition. The insurance company has already been named the winner of THE BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE 2007, 2009, and 2010. It is the only Russian insurance company to have been included in Top 40 most expensive Russian brands regularly since 2005.
