IBA Presents its New Cloud Chancellor
OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2012. IBA announces the release of its new software product Cloud Chancellor, reported the press-centre of IBA.
Cloud Chancellor allows for automation of workflow and document archiving of documents in all types of companies. Using its centralized IT infrastructure or a leased infrastructure, a company is able to create an online service of electronic document management (EDM).
Igor Petrik, Director of the Electronic Workflow Division at IBA, said:"Today, business seeks to use more cloud services. This is directly related to the transfer of document management systems to the cloud. We carefully analyzed content management needs of our clients and developed a new software product. I believe that the new EDM system IBA Cloud Chancellor will bring tangible economic benefits to the companies. Using cloud computing, a user pays only for the services and does not pay for the infrastructure construction, maintenance, and development or the salary of technicians. This is the main advantage of cloud systems."
The electronic document management system is based on the components and modules of IBA Cloud Chancellor and can be located on a leased infrastructure or centralized IT resources of geographically distributed companies. The EDM system provides a full-range web interface for the following applications and components:
Basic System
Workflow
Archiving
Citizens Applications.
The access to Cloud Chancellor can be organized via web interface or using browser-based tablets with iOS, Android, and Windows.
The unlimited number of users can be connected to the system. The Cloud Chancellor system provides the protection against unauthorized access, high reliability through cluster servers and data backup. The level of the system resistance to software failures makes non-recoverable malfunction of data integrity and storage facilities impossible.
Petrik adds: “The EDM system Cloud Chancellor is a complete electronic document management system for companies of all sizes and industries. The system allows for flexible expansion of the computing power simultaneously with the company growth. Cutting costs is a key issue for commercial organizations that want to be competitive and successful. I suppose that possible risks of using cloud services should be considered in advance so as to prevent problems. Thus the risks will not impede usage of cloud computing.”
