OREANDA-NEWS. November 08, 2012. “AutoKrAZ” has been awarded contract to deliver public service trucks for road maintenance to Kremenchug utility companies. To mount special equipment was chosen 4х2 KrAZ Н12.2 cabover chassis truck provided with the YaMZ-536 (Eurо-4) rated at 312 hp, the MFZ 430 single disk clutch and the 9JS150ТА transmission, reported the press-centre of AutoKrAZ.    

One of these trucks is a novelty added to lineup for use in public service applications. This is the KrAZ К12.2 with detachable salt spreader, snow removal and street cleaning equipment from Ukrainian manufacturer Spetsbudmash 530. This multi-purpose road maintenance truck is designed for all-year use over hard-surfaced roads. In summer, it can be used for cleaning and watering roads, washing roadway gutter area and watering landscaped areas. In winter, it can be used to spread ice-melting products for preventing ice and packed snow on roads.

The other truck, in compliance with tender specifications, is the KrAZ К12.2 vacuum street sweeper provided with special equipment City Fant 60 from German manufacturer Bucher-Schoerling. It is designed for cleaning streets, parking areas, large public and industrial territories, roads, storm drains and drain shafts.

The special public service trucks were made and handed over on due date. The customer is satisfied with their quality and performance.
