OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company completed the settlement of the loss event in respect to Louzhniki Travel Company. After the required documents had been submitted, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid the insurance indemnity to the last client who suffered through the fault of this tour operator. Third-party liability of Louzhniki Travel Company had been insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company for the amount of RUB 30 m.

As a result, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company settled and indemnified 96 claims of 246 tourists for the total sum of RUB 21,307,381.87.

Considering the fact that the total amount of all claims did not exceed the insurance limit of RUB 30 m, payments were made in full according to the documented claims.

It should be reminded that Louzhniki Travel Company Ltd. announced the suspension of its obligations performance on August 9, 2011 as a result of which the clients of the tour operator could not use the prepaid tours and make planned trips.
