Energy Giant Chevron Invests in Lithuania
OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2012. American energy sector giant Chevron has acquired 50 per cent shares in LL investicijos, a Lithuanian company holding a permit for exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources in Western Lithuania for an undisclosed sum, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.
Chevron is the second largest energy company in the US and the third largest in the world, with wide experience in exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources.
SORAINEN advised Chevron on preparatory work (including due diligence) and the main transaction.
The SORAINEN team of M&A and energy lawyers led by partner Kestutis Adamonis included specialist counsel Paulius Koverovas, senior associates Eugenijus Filonovas, Mantas Petkevicius, associate Gytis Malinauskas, and others.
