OREANDA-NEWS. November 6, 2012. PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", which operates under the UniCredit Bank trade mark, organized a UniCredit Children's Day.

In the frames of UniCredit Children's Day Bank opened the doors of its headquarters for the children of employees to introduce them the place where their parents work, facilitate popularization of banker profession and increase the level of financial literacy among youth.

Children of the Bank’s employees of middle and high school age were invited to participate in this event. Interesting, informative tour around the major international financial institutions was offered to the children. During the banking tour young visitors discovered meaningful information about the activity and the basic functions of banking institution through the example of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", took a dive into the history of a leading group UniCredit, learned more about sponsorship projects of the Bank, including a recent project UEFA EURO 2012 and others.

Besides a general story about the financial institution, the young guests had the unique opportunity to visit the key departments of the Bank, to communicate with their representatives and to discover main functions of personnel of a particular unit, and to see how one of Bank’s branches works.

The final chord of the UniCredit Children's Day was the get-acquainted meeting of students with the Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" Boris Timonkin during which prominent banker personally congratulated the children, answered their questions and wished to all of them success in learning and successful future career.

Boris Tymonkin, Chairman of the Board of PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", UniCredit Bank™, commenting on the initiative, said: "We are socially-oriented bank, so also are responsible for the level of financial awareness among young people. Acquired knowledge will be useful for students today and in their future. I assume that among children who visited the Bank today, there may be future employees of our bank".

It should be noted that the PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" aims to organize such events with the involvement of high school’s students across the territory of Ukraine in the future.
