OREANDA-NEWS. November 02, 2012. Zavolzhskiy motorny zavod for 9 months 2012 increased by 19% production of engines against fact of analogous period of 2011.

Totally for January-September more than 67 K engines of all modifications have been produced including diesel version.

Ramp up of the program was achieved due to production of 4-cylinder engines "406" family under orders of UAZ and dealer organizations for sale in aftermarket.

 Ulyanovsky automotive plant will have 75% of total volume of supplies .Under its orders 50 630 engines were supplied by 18% more that for 9 months of 2011. Under orders of PAZ 4 047 eight cylinder engines were supplied by 27,3% more than fact of January-September 2011 . 27 engine were supplied to GAZ under state order. Volumes of supplies for aftermarket increased level of analogous period of last year by 26.5% and amounted to 12 765 engines.

 Increase of quality level of produced engines was achieved also. Due to implementation of measures of the plant program in sphere of the quality it was succeeded to decrease by 26.5% internal defectness revealed in our own testing benches and by 24% external defectness revealed in main customer of the engines – Uljanovsky automotive plant. Quantity of claims decreased by 16%.
