OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. After successful testing of equipment and main and auxiliary systems of JSC TGC-1 the unit № 1 at Matkozhnenskaya CHP began to produce energy. The hydroelectric generator with power 21 MW needed to be recovered after the abnormal situation in August 2012.

"October 22, 2012 the unit was tested after repairs. To join the generator to the network for the transmission of electricity in the unified energy system we worked hard. Specialists restored complex relay protection and automatic power line 110 kV", - said Igor Kartsev, chief engineer of the Karelian branch JSC TGC-1.
