OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO announces the start of studying of the second SKOLKOVO Startup Academy class; it is a programme for those who would like to launch their own business or accelerate a current startup project.

There are 15 young men and women from Moscow, Riga, Belgorod, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk and Ulyanovsk who are united by the urge to reach new heights, bring their ideas and dreams to life and the desire to become real leaders of the future.

For the second SKOLKOVO Startup Academy class students the day started with a welcoming speech from Lawrence Wright, director of the programme, and Andrei Volkov, Dean of the SKOLKOVO business school, who have told them what is awaiting them within the next two months and wished them not to be afraid to risk and luck in achieving their major goal – becoming a successful entrepreneur!

The first day of the new students at the SKOLKOVO business school was aimed at acquaintance with the Campus, school’s history, mentors and, surely, each other. The evening continued in a solemn atmosphere and was dedicated to communication with those who know all the SKOLKOVO Startup Academy secrets not by hearsay – the first class graduates.

Already tomorrow the students will start studying within the first module “Business models and Customer Development”. The module will be conducted by the experienced entrepreneur Bob Dorf. The participants will start designing business models, discuss them with coaches and present them to the professor and order to get precious recommendations and comments.
