OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. The Commencement ceremony of first High Fly HiPo Program took place at Pulkovo Airport. Thirteen course leavers got their certificates and commemorative tokens.

High Fly program was organized by NCG LLC just after start of Pulkovo Airport operational management together with Fraport AG. The course was arranged by analogy with existing Mini MBA course for aviation industry employees at Frankfurt Airport.

Fraport company, a member of NCG LLC international consortium, takes share in operational management of 13 airports worldwide and introduce advanced technologies not only in respect to passenger handling process but as well to personnel development and training.

Main objective of the course is professional development, improvement of management skills of young employees already working at managerial positions or being company’s talent pool.

All participants were preliminary nominated by line management and passed competitive selection. The course is several modules (in English and Russian languages) containing introduction to international airports’ operational and economic activity and as well special courses such as Aviation Marketing, Intermodal Transportation, Airport Operations Management. Most of courses are taught by internationally recognized experts, current Fraport AG employees.

In November, 2011 HiPos underwent training at Frankfurt International Airport (one of the biggest Europe airports with an annual passenger flow more than 23 million passengers) and at Hannover Airport (passenger flow more than 4 million passengers). During business trip which was a key part of the project, NCG employees took part in professional exchange and got to know management of international aviation enterprise operation.

Such a goal cannot be achieved without skilled and efficient management personnel. Surely, new knowledge gained for 2 training years, will help our personnel in implementation of projects of different complexity levels.
