OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. The number of PrivatBank salary card holders reached 4 million. The number of salary-card users has increased by 590 thousand since the beginning of the year. According to the statistics, every fifth able-bodied Ukrainian citizen utillzes PrivatBank salary card (20 million according to the data of Ukrainian State Committee on Statistics) and nearly 40% of staff of Ukrainian enterprises and organizations (10.7 million).

“Previously, only companies opened payroll projects, but today salary card is an essential tool for a person’s life and customers exercise their legal right to choose their own bank,” said Oleg Gorokhovsky, the PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. “This year, the trend is that many employees open salary cards in PrivatBank on their own will, regardless of the employer’s servicing bank.”

PrivatBank notes that an employee of any company, both private or public, can open a salary card in the bank and receive his/her salary on it. Card can be ordered at any bank’s office, by phone or by oneself - via any ATM of the bank. Salary card’ issuing and servicing are free of charge.
