OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2012. Lenta’s third hypermarket opened in Leninsky district of the city

"Lenta" of Sibirsky prospect, 7, as well as the other 2 stores of the chain, occupy the area of 12,000 square meters, including the retail premises of about 7500 sq.m. Customer parking for 455 cars has been organized.

However, the new "Lenta" has its own specific features: we have increased the layout area through the use of the new shelving system, improved lighting of the trading area, having placed the departments "vegetables and fruits", "gastroostrov" in the center of the hall. The changes have also affected the store’s design – the bright informative signs will help the customers to find the section and goods they need. In the checkout area, "Homelike Lenta Cafe" of the company’s own design has opened.

The "Lenta" of Sibirsky prospect offers 20 000 products, including the goods supplied by the local producers. Opening of the third hypermarket has contributed to signing of the new contracts with the local producers and increasing the range of Omsk-made products. Today, 45 Omsk companies supply their products to the chain. The share of local products in the total turnover of stores in Omsk has made 25%.

The new "Lenta" of Sibirsky prospect has employed 320 people- the city’s residents.

"Lenta" company has come to the retail market of Omsk region in September 2007 with opening of the eponymous hypermarket in the Kirovsky district in the 70 October street, 25. In April 2009, in the Central district of the city, at 21st Amurskaya street, 21 the second store of the chain has flung its doors open for the customers.
