OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. A CNPC subsidiary Liaoyang Petrochemical Company output qualified PETG products for the first time in China, filling in the gap of the country’s high-end polyester products, reported the press-centre of CNPC.

Being environmentally friendly, PETG is widely used to produce transparent plastic plate, sheet, film, and bottle container etc. It can also be used as a substitute for top grade PC and PMMA. Liaoyang Petrochemical owns the proprietary intellectual property rights of this product.

The project is significant for CNPC’s upgrading of its petrochemical sector and has promising market prospects.
