OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. President Jin Chunsheng met in CEMC the delegation of Bolivian government led by Ms. Hortensia Jimenez Rivera, Vice Minister of Petroleum and Energy who is in charge of electricity and alternative energy, Mr. Milton Jose Carreon Virhuet, Vice Director of the Department of Economic and Social Policy Analysis, Ministry of Development and Planning, and Ms. Noemi Villegas Tufino, Director of the Highway Bureau of La Paz, reported the press-centre of CMEC.

President Jin extended a warm greeting to the Vice Minister who led the first delegation of Bolivian government to CMEC. He gave a detailed introduction to CMEC, presented its latest achievements made in 2011, and emphasized the company’s strengths. Besides, he also extended his hope for entering into the Bolivian market and conducting cooperation in hydropower, wind power and solar energy with the Bolivian side. The Vice Minister indicated that it was pleasant to meet with President Jin. Besides, she stressed Bolivia’s development needs in electricity and other aspects where she wanted to cooperate with China. Both sides indicated that they would enhance mutual cooperation. By virtue of CMEC's advantages and experiences in contracting power projects, they would soon make breakthroughs in Bolivia’s power sector, especially in hydropower and new energy.
