OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. ICBC has recently been honored by National Business Daily with the "2012 China Fund 'Gold Tripod Award' - Best Fund Custodian Bank" award. This marks the fifth award to ICBC's custodian services since early this year, reported the press-centre of ICBC.

National Business Daily is an economic daily newspaper. Providing essential news on the economy and finance for Chinese corporate executives, and investors, officials, economists for the sector, the newspaper has been widely respected in the field. This year's competition attracted fund management companies, fund-selling banks, fund custodian banks, brokerage houses and third-party institutions to participate in the evaluation. The aim is to select the winners in the asset management industry.

Beginning from this year, ICBC has been named "Best Custodian Bank in China of the Year" by Global Finance (US), Global Custodian (UK) and The Assets (HK). Earlier, ICBC was named "China Venture Capital & Private Equity Annual Ranking - 2011 Best Custodian Bank in China for VC/PE Funds". As of today, ICBC has received 33 domestic and international awards which underscore its excellent custodian services and brand.
