OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. According to Bankir.ru news portal, Tatfondbank entered the list of banks most often mentioned in mass media based on the results of the 3rd quarter of 2012. Tatfondbank is now number 38, 4 places up on the list compared to the 2nd quarter of 2012, reported the press-centre of Tatfondbank.

The ranking included 44 Russian banks most often mentioned in mass media. According to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the total number of credit institutions in Russia at 1 October 2012 is 962.

Bankir.ru notes that the ranking was prepared on the basis of Scan-Interfax data base, which includes over 4 000 mass media editions. The instruments used to handle bulk information from Scan-Interfax data base make it possible to make information kits, find specific documents, obtain reference information, collect data on market conditions, public information on people, companies and regions, compile statistical data, and make rankings of most often mentioned entities.
