OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2012. A project for development and content filling of the positions profiles and profiles of the Company's Employees has been successfully completed at TATNEFT, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

A pilot project has been implemented for TATNEFT Group of Companies by the experts of Energy Consulting on the basis of NGDU "Elkhovneft", which is one of the major TATNEFT's Oil & Gas Production Boards with the participation of experts including specialists of the Company's Executive Office, Engineering Center, NGDU "Almetyevneft" and NGDU "Yamashneft". Totally the profiles have been developed for more than 250 typical job position profiles and more than 450 profiles of employees, which have been implemented in the information personnel management system of TATNEFT, created on the SAPERP solution basis.

The extensive work performed aimed at identification and classification of key requirements for the competencies, professional knowledge, as well as skills of TATNEFT's employees required for successful execution of the routine tasks.

The job position profile and the employee profile are core tools in the process of personnel management being the basis for the employee evaluation and making the requirements specified for the person transparent, defining guidelines for the development, as well as allowing to automate and integrate the processes of personnel management within the information system.

Job profiles have been formed for all areas of the crude oil and gas production board activity, including crude oil and gas production and treatment, reservoir pressure maintenance, crude oil refining and outputting of petroleum products, geology, well workover, enhanced oil recovery and well construction, capital construction, economics, accounting and finance, as well as HR management.

Nine focus groups attended by about 100 experts from the customer were composed for the adequate formation of the job positions and employees profiles.

The formed typical job position profiles and profiles of employees allow identifying and systematizing requirements to the staff. The profile-based positions ensure more effective selection of candidates for working in the Company and formation of the talented reserve pool. The project implemented also allows for detecting the common area of the employees’ development and create targeted training programs.
