OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2012. “Transaero” Airlines start to operate its flight from Vnukovo International Airport to Heathrow Airport. Representatives of airline “Transaero” and Vnukovo Airport take part in a solemn ceremony devoted to first flight to London.

The airline operates its flights from three airports in Moscow and, therefore, we can compare. We are pleased with our cooperation and are ready for further expansion and development. On behalf of the Vnukovo airport, Elena Krylova, head of the press service, congratulated passengers with their first “Transaero” flight to London. “Airport Vnukovo will do their best to make passengers feel comfortable. The first passenger who checked in to the flight was a 16-year-old Leonid Krendelschikov from Yelabuga. "I fly to London for two weeks for studies. Vnukovo offers very convenient connections: I flew to Moscow from Nizhnekamsk in the morning and just in a few hours I will reach the UK capital. That is great! "- said Leonid. He took part in the opening ceremony of the first flight and cut the red ribbon with the representatives of the airline and of the airport. Vnukovo Airport and "Transaero" airlines presented souvenirs to first passenger.

Convenient arrival time gives more opportunities for connection flights at Heathrow. Flight Moscow - London - Moscow (UN353/354) will be operated daily from Terminal A. Departure from Vnukovo airport is at 16:05, arrival in London is at 16:10. Departure from London to Heathrow Airport is at 18:30, arrival in Moscow at 02:20 the next day.
