Sellwell Holds Training Seminar for Uniastrum Staff
OREANDA-NEWS. November 1, 2012. The main objectives of the seminar were to develop competencies such as persuasion and influence techniques, and to gain better results from cold calling. Uniastrum staff were taught how to improve their cold calling skills, how to handle negative and reluctant contacts, and to convey a confident and positive attitude when calling.
Sellwell is one of Russia’s top training companies, helping businesses to improve their sales and negotiation skills and to conduct successful presentations and marketing events. Its clients include major Russian and foreign firms.
Uniastrum employees regularly take part in seminars and workshops operated by leading staff training companies and the Bank’s in-house Corporate University. Since year-start 2012, over 1,600 staff members have attended more than 150 training events in Moscow and regions under the Bank’s coverage.
As well as basic induction programs for new starters run by the Corporate University, Uniastrum operates a number of focused training initiatives for tellers, sales staff, middle managers, and other specialists, the priority aim of which is to hone professional and communication skills, as well as improve their personal qualities. Employees whose duties require them to use foreign languages on a regular basis are encouraged to attend the language courses held at the Bank’s head office.
“Staff training is conducted at the Bank’s head office in Moscow, to where personnel working at regional offices and neighborhood banking centers come for on-the-job training, or by video conferencing,” explains Sergei Osipov, Vice President of Uniastrum’s HR Department. “To ensure good results, it’s crucial that staff have an opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills, and we do everything we can to encourage their overall development.”
