OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012.   A contract signing ceremony was held in Hefei on October 30 to celebrate the establishment of Wanhe new energy production base in Shuangfeng Development Zone. Wu Cunrong, standing member of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of CPC Hefei Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony.

Guangdong Wanhe Group is a key high-tech enterprise included in National Torch Plan, a domestic leading professional manufacturing enterprise of gas appliances and related kitchen appliances,and the maker of national standards on gas water heater, gas stove and disinfecting cabinet. With a total investment of above 1 billion yuan, Wanhe new energy production base site is located in the southern end of Fenglin Road, Shuangfeng Development Zone. Its overall technology has reached the domestic leading level, basically the international advanced level with fully automated production process.

In recent years, Hefei City has become one of the three largest home appliance production bases, while home appliances manufacturing industry being one of the pillar industries in Hefei. Wanhe is the first large enterprise in Hefei focusing on new energy integrated appliances to make up the blank in this field.
