OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012.   The twelfth Five-Year Plan of Hefei National Economic and Social Development was made consequential amendments because of administrative division readjustment to clearly put forward a "1331" new spatial development pattern yesterday.

[1331] "1" means to optimize and upgrade the main city, "3" represents three deputy central cities, which are Chaohu, Lujiang and Changfeng, the other "3" are three bases, namely Xinqiao Airport industrial base, Lu'nan heavy chemical industry base and Chaobei industrial base, the last "1" is Chaohu lake ecological demonstration zone.

It was learned that the final large Hefei planning would take advantage of five plans and was expected to complete its preparation work by the end of this year. Livelihood projects in the revised "12th Five-Year Plan" are blooming. In addition to the spatial pattern, infrastructure construction will also reflect the big change in Hefei. In urban rail transit, besides speeding up the construction of line 1 and line 2, the 3rd line construction will also start during the "12th Five-Year" period.

About education, Hefei will promote the balanced development of basic education, vigorously develop public kindergartens, and guide and support the private kindergarten to provide inclusive service.
