OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012. The Government has decided to reschedule the nationwide census from 2012 to 2013. The corresponding decree has been adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The main purpose of the document is to ensure the proper completion of preparatory works and create the necessary material and technical basis for qualitative realization of nationwide census.

A difficulty of the full implementation of range of works on the preparation and holding population census in 2012 is related with the limited allocations of general fund budget within 2008-2012 to preparation of nationwide census (there have been funded only at 41.4% of the requirement).
