OREANDA-NEWS. October 31, 2012. With SMS Banking you would receive alerts on your registered mobile phone number, informing you about the changes on your bank card account, whether you received money, you've paid something or have withdrawn money from ATM, reported the press-centre of Victoriabank.

In addition, for the first time in Moldova, you can pay your utility bills, cable TV, recharge your internet and mobile phone account simply by sending an SMS.

Who can activate SMS Banking?

The service is available for all Victoriabank cardholders. If you have several Victoriabank cards, you can activate all of them.

How to activate the SMS Banking service?

SMS-Banking service can be activated quickly and easily at any Victoriabank ATM:

Insert the card into the ATM and enter your PIN code;

From ATM menu select "Subscribe to services"> "SMS Banking";

Enter the Orange phone number, then choose a 5 digit numeric password for SMS-Banking service;

Choose a monthly SMS option: 10, 20, 30 or unlimited SMS for alerts and other messages that you'll receive from Victoriabank (not applicable if you enable service co-brand card from Orange and Victoriabank);

Send an SMS from your phone to the number 101 with the same numeric password that you entered at the ATM.

Upon receiving a message with your password, Victoriabank will check its compliance with your Orange mobile phone number, by using the input data at the ATM and will activate the service. In case of sending the incorrect password, you will have two attempts, and then you will need to repeat the registration at the ATM. When you activate SMS-Banking service for more bank cards, you need to choose a different password for each of them.

It is important to use strong passwords and keep them completely secret. We also recommend that you delete phone messages containing passwords.
