Ingosstrakh Held Charitable Actions in Nizhny Novgorod Region
OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2012. On October 23, 2012, the formal opening of a rural health post was held in Borkovka village of Vyksunsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company allocated over RUB 10 m of charity funds for the construction and provision of the most up-to-date equipment.
The list of medical services to be provided at the new rural health post is fully compliant with all regulatory standards and includes patient reception, carrying out medical procedures, vaccination, examination by dedicated CDH medical experts in accordance with the schedule of regional visits, house-calls by Healthy Lifestyle Office specialists, and many other things.
The rural health post was opened by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company within the framework of the social charitable initiative aimed at providing help for the regions of Nizhny Novgorod Region suffered from fire in summer 2010.
“Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has been implementing this charitable initiative for the second year already. Its main goal is to enhance restoration of the social and cultural environment in the regions suffered from the disastrous fire,” Alexey Sokolov, Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, explained. “Within this charitable initiative we strive to provide real help, do specific, useful and necessary things for the rural population of the region.”
In 2011, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company presented the Vyksunskaya Central District Hospital (CDH) with two new ambulance cars and Accuvix V10 professional ultrasound system. Also, four fire-fighting vehicles were purchased; and funds were allocated for the purchase of fire-extinguishing equipment for volunteer fire brigades in three regional settlements. Thanks to Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, children from populated localities in the regions, suffered from the fire in 2010, managed to visit the New Year Party at the Moscow City Mayor's Office, while young athletes were able to visit Channel One Cup hockey matches held in the capital.
“Opening of the rural health post is very far from the last step on implementing the charitable initiative in Nizhny Novgorod Region. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company next plans include building up an Art Center in Borkovka village,” Alexey Sokolov specified.
The new rural health post is not the only gift presented to the inhabitants of the Vyksunsky District on October 23. On the same day, another remarkable event took place in one of the Vyksa central streets – the foundation of an alley of 65 red leaved oaks was laid in the vicinity of the City Park for Recreation and Leisure. The trees were planted within the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Alleys environment campaign coinciding with the 65th anniversary of the company and the upcoming 22nd Olympic and 11th Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.
The event was attended by representatives of Nizhny Novgorod Region Administration, Vyksa City District, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company staff members, clients and partners of the company, as well as many residents of the town of Vyksa. The campaign was supported by Igor Rayev, Head of the Vyksa City District Administration, who personally planted the first tree in the new alley of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. Alexander Kartsevsky, Minister of Health of Nizhny Novgorod Region, also attended the event and read out a note of acknowledgement for Ingosstrakh Insurance Company on behalf of Valery Shantsev, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, expressing gratitude for vigorous social activities and participation in multiple charitable initiatives in the region.
The event organizers hope that the new trees will make the city even more charming and attractive, and will help draw public attention to ecological and environmental issues, as well as present a good example for those who care about prosperity and development of their city and region.
The Alleys of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company environment campaign started in Yakutsk on September 15 this year. It is held within the framework of Billion Trees Program, the global campaign dedicated to tree planting implemented in accordance with the United Nations Environment Program. The Ingosstrakh Insurance Company project on tree-planting in Russian regions will last for two months. Within this time, they plan to plant about 3,000 trees in the largest cities where the company branches operate. The campaign will be finished on November 16, 2012, on Ingosstrakh Insurance Company birthday. By the results of the campaign, there will be held an exhibition of photographs made by the action participants from each Russian city where Ingosstrakh Insurance Company alleys will be laid.
